Still need help? We're here for you.
Our support team is ready to help you choose the right Elvoriah™ lens for your needs.
Do Elvoriah™ glasses really filter blue light?
Yes. Elvoriah™ lenses use colored optical filters designed to selectively reduce portions of short-wavelength visible light. The intensity of filtration varies between DayShield, FocusShield and NightShield.
Are Elvoriah™ glasses prescription or non-prescription?
Elvoriah™ glasses are currently offered as non-prescription eyewear. They can be used by people who do not require vision correction and may also be worn with contact lenses.
Can I wear Elvoriah™ glasses outdoors?
DayShield and FocusShield can be used in a variety of indoor and daytime environments. NightShield has a much stronger red tint and is intended mainly for evening and indoor nighttime use.
When should I use each Elvoriah™ lens?
- DayShield: for daytime activities and everyday screen exposure.
- FocusShield: for intensive screen time, work, study and gaming.
- NightShield: for evening and nighttime use as part of your wind-down routine.
What is the difference between DayShield and FocusShield?
DayShield uses a yellow lens designed for everyday daytime use with greater visible-light transmission. FocusShield uses a stronger orange filter intended for longer and more intensive digital sessions.
Why is NightShield red?
The red tint is designed to provide the most intensive short-wavelength light filtration within the Elvoriah™ system. NightShield is intended primarily for use during the evening when reducing exposure to shorter wavelengths may better complement your nighttime routine.
Can evening light affect my circadian rhythm?
Light is one of the main environmental signals used by the body to regulate its internal clock. Exposure to short-wavelength light late in the day can influence circadian signaling, which is why managing your evening light environment can be part of a consistent nighttime routine.
Are Elvoriah™ glasses only for computers?
No. Elvoriah™ lenses can also be used around smartphones, tablets, televisions and artificial lighting. The recommended lens depends on the time of day and the intensity of your light environment.
Which Elvoriah™ lens is right for me?
If you want comfortable everyday filtration, choose DayShield. If you spend long hours working, studying or gaming, choose FocusShield. For evening use and your pre-sleep routine, choose NightShield.
What Our Customers Are Saying
Designed for every part of your day.
“I use FocusShield during long work sessions and gaming. The orange lenses are stronger than I expected, but after a few minutes they feel very natural.”
“I started using NightShield in the evening while reading and watching TV. I really like how different the lighting feels compared with using screens without them.”
“Very comfortable and lightweight. I mainly use them when I know I'll be in front of the computer for several hours. I would definitely recommend them for heavy screen users.”
“The DayShield lenses are subtle enough for daytime use and the frames look much better in person. They've become one of those things I keep next to my laptop.”
“NightShield is definitely the strongest filter of the three. I use mine during the last part of the evening and like having a dedicated pair specifically for nighttime.”
